Hello Parents!

It’s that time again. I have opened up the jobs for all the meets. My request is, if your child is swimming, you sign up for a shift.

Job Descriptions 

Timer-time the lane you are in, great opportunity to see the meet up close.

Scribe-write down the times for your lane.

Runner-take the scribe’s paper to the data entry area.

Circler-circling the median time. 

Data Entry-assist the main data person.

Awards-hand out awards to swimmers.

Tent Parents- herd cats aka kids and get them to the bench :)

Ready Bench-make sure the swimmers get to their correct lane.

Stroke Judge- great spot to watch the meet, make sure the kids are doing strokes correctly and relays are legal. (Must take a class.)

If you work, and know you can’t be there for the start of the first shift, please sign up for second shift. If you are late more than once, I will boot you to second shift. My nervous system can’t handle it.

If you have 3+ kids and we are short on volunteers, don’t avoid eye contact because I am coming for you to fill a spot. :)

Finally, I understand people work, have emergencies, and life happens, we are flexible, but please, if you are at the meet, we need your help.
