Congrats to our 7-8 girls for dominating their age group this morning at the Division 4 Meet of Champs. They won both relays plus won the breast (Makaela Sanchez, 26.26) and went 1-2-3 in both the back (Alyssa Brown winning in a time of 22.55) and fly (Ginger Peterson winning in a time of 21.58). Those three girls plus Violet McCullough (medley) and Emily Love (free) were on the winning relays.

Other top finishers included Kinsley George in the 6-and-under free (2nd, 23.18) and 7-8 back (4th place even though she's just 6!), Patrick Love in the boys 9-10 fly (2nd, 18.26) and Max Godfrey in boys 6-and-under free (3rd place, 23.40).

We'll probably hear about at-large qualifiers for All-Stars tomorrow sometime.

For those who are competing tonight, good luck, and you get to stay indoors the  whole time. The building is air-conditioned but it's still fairly warm so make sure you bring lots of water and healthy snacks. The morning meet lasted about 3 1/2 hours and we predict the evening session to last about 4 hours.
