I know that everyone has been waiting for additional information, so thank you for your patience. Please carefully read this whole email!!!

When: The meet will begin promptly at 8am. Please arrive with your swimmer at 7am to get marked and warm up. Afternoon: arrive at 3pm.

Venue: There are two Natatoriums in the area. Make sure that you go to the new one at 1020 Horace Mann Ave, Rosenberg, TX. For the morning meet, the swimmers will be in the parking lot under tents outside the natatorium, so bring your swimmer a chair, extra towel, etc. For the afternoon, the swimmers will be in the bleachers on the pool deck. There is plenty of parking at the facility, so please do not park on the side streets.

Volunteering: The league is having each volunteer sign in to keep everyone accountable. There are 5 teams involved and every team needs to pull its weight. First half volunteers, please sign in no later than 7:40am. Second half volunteers, please sign in by event #31 (7/8 girls breaststroke) and your shift will begin after event #34 (9/10 boys breaststroke). If not, they will come looking for you! We’ll be sending out shift reminders/assignments tonight. Thank you for all your help!

Spectating: There are no parents allowed on the pool deck unless you are volunteering—very strict policy. Most areas will be roped off. There is plenty of room in the bleachers to spectate. There will also be a section designated for current races—it’s a little closer to the action. Please feel free to go in this area when your swimmer is participating, but please be courteous to others and leave as soon as your swimmer’s race is over.

Awards: Awards are given to swimmers and relays finishing with the top 16 times for the division. Announcements will be made when those awards are ready. Times will be posted in the awards section of the natatorium to reference.

Relays: Each team can have two relays per event. The coaches will be assigning these after warm-ups. If there are enough swimmers to have two relays, then we’ll most likely have two.

Concessions: There will be concessions offered at the natatorium.

Timing: Each meet should not take longer than 3 hours.
